I was studying George Washington in class and here are some things I learned.

George Washington is known as the father of Texas. One day little George cut down his fathers favorite  cherry tree.He was an honorable   man with great courage and  integrity. One hair style was for men to where wigs ,but his hair was real.John Adams, who served as Vice President joked about his height and said that Washington  was always elected because he was the tallest man in the room.

I am learning about Abraham Lincoln. Let me give you a few facts.

Abraham Lincoln’s mother died of a mysterious sickness  that broke out in the cabin. He had  many jobs like splitting firewood , shop keeping, and he was a postmaster. At the time when he went to New Orleans it  was a big slave market.   He spent some time there. He was trusted by both children and adults. John Wilkes killed him at a play.
