Hey, guys so I saw that my last post was about 2 years ago and the post before that was 2 years so I’m going to try to keep the streak going. I still play hockey but now I play for the Shreveport Jr mudbugs, and we have a tryout this Saturday to see who actually makes the travel team. I’m a little nervous about that but I know that I will try my best and whatever happens I will be perfectly fine with it. Stay safe guys.
Hello again it’s been a couple of years now but I figured I would post again, I am 12 years old now, and about to be 13, I still play hockey and it’s really cool to be out there and having fun I am going to try to post a little more often now about what I am doing at school and projects that i’m doing. My dogs are now a lot older stitch is 9 and peewee is 6 but they are still as much fun as when we first got them, stitch has a lot of grey hair on his face now and it’s really cute and peewee is still short and fat, we got new floors and peewee slides on them a lot. One thing that has happened since I have posted is peewee went missing for a few days and went to nacogdoches and went to SFA with a college kid before we picked him up. That’s it for today. My fifth grade year has been awsome i have no idea how it went by so fast fifth grade has gone by so fast i just cant beleave it. It has been so cool. We had a lotof laughs.
Wow my last fifth grade blog post its suprised me it seems like only yesterday it was my first. Fifth grade has gone by fast. When i got my homeroom class asinment i was so exsided had i knon it was going to go by so fast well i dont know this has been thee best 3 years of my life im so supries it is over.
My best was when we got my first dog Stich. The way we got him was my mom had a friend that their dog had puppies so my mom called her and asked if we could have one because my mom knew a wanted a dog.So we meet them half way at a gas station when we got him he was a big dog for his age he still is. We got him a red ball he still plays with it now some times it goes over the fence into are nabors yard so then i have to get it. The way we traned him with one of those shock collors so if he got out of the yard he would know to come back he only got out one time.
Children working was a bad thing because sometimes the children would get hurt. When the children worked they worked about 12 to 14 ours a day. Some kids who worked in the mines would have to be hiden because they had to be atleast 14 to work there but some where 12 and working there.Some kids worked in a textila mill where sometimes fires would start.If they did not get to work on time or even if they where a minute late the boss would dock there pay,if the kids where sick and did not come they would not pay them or fire them,if they got hurt they would fire them.When the children got payed they got payed 10 cents a month just about.Chiled labor was a bad thing i am very thankful that itis still not going on. I hope you learned a lot about Child Labor.
